United States Patent and Trade Office (USPTO)
TriTech supported the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO) Platform Services Architecture, Design, Integration, and Implementation Project (PSADII). The PSADII environment simplifies and unifies USPTO efforts to facilitate USPTO-developed applications as they move from development to production incorporating such software/tools as JBoss, ESB, WebSphere Application, Portal, MarkLogic, Alfresco, COTS, integration, Documentum and MQ/MQSI, Apache, Tomcat, and other standard and emerging middleware technologies. TriTech provided support for the following activities for the PSDAII platform: infrastructure engineering support, deployment support (including tasks to support all SDLC phases), performance tuning and troubleshooting, infrastructure development, and on-call operations support. TriTech provided support for migrations, enhancements, preventive and routine maintenance, and daily operations.
TriTech was responsible for leading the migration of Automated Information Systems from WebSphere to JBoss. TriTech prepared a plan of migration that specified how to translate the strategy and process into systematic instructions required for the USPTO to execute the migration process within the USPTO environment. Key areas encompassed baseline assessment, infrastructure engineering, and software engineering tasks.
